Curtain falls on the first american Tango Argentina tour

TWENTY CONCERTS. ONE SUCCESS AFTER THE OTHER.

CURTAIN FALLS ON THE FIRST AMERICAN TANGO ARGENTINA TOUR

City after city, week after week, theater after theater, show after show, Tango Argentina’s US tour was an unprecedented success. Tickets practically sold out in every city that hosted the group of four musicians and eight dancers, among the best in the world.

The musical section curated by the Fabrizio Mocata Quartet: Fabrizio Mocata, pianist of international fame, responsible for all the arrangements; Moshe Shulman on bandoneon, Diana Seitz on violin and Dominic Martinez on double bass.

The GD Tango group, led by Guillermo De Fazio and Giovanna Dan, together with the other three couples Marcos Pereira and Florencia Borgnia, Andres Bravo and Sarita Apel, Paloma Berríos and Maximiliano Alvarado.

The last show, last April 3, in New York City was the right exciting ending for a world-class show that never disappointed expectations. The social networks were invaded by the photographs and videos that viewers posted every day, full of the overwhelming emotions transmitted by the cast.

Twenty concerts that have touched as many cities, exploring the United States from east to west, passing through some of the best American theaters and auditoriums.

The perfect synergy between the songs composed by Mocata and the choreographies created by GD tango in an idea of an innovative tango show. The artists on stage managed to combine a profound respect for classic tango with an opening to new artistic worlds. The audience felt this energy shared between musicians and dancers, which magically dragged the show without ever losing sight of the listener.

Highlights the song Charlestonga, which brings together the Roaring Twenties in the United States and the Argentine milonga in a mix that dragged the audience every night and closed the show. Even tradition has found space in the inevitable Cumparsita and in the pieces by Pugliese and D’Arienzo, and in different moments of the show also the presence of Astor Piazzolla.

A truly magical show, which has managed to attract both tango connoisseurs and newbies, the success of the public and the warm standing ovations are nothing more than the seal and confirmation of a very high artistic quality.

A show that will certainly not write the end.

This will just be goodbye.
